If one was to throw C4n1d a ball, would he fetch it or would he consider it offensive?

Think it depends on the energy you throw it with, but 9.9/10 times they’re definitely fetching it.

They’re really high energy so it’s not exactly because they’re based on a dog and more a combination of their programming and the fact they need to get off some of that energy.

Now, if, say, you throw the ball just casual or maybe with some ‘baby voice’ they probably won’t really care all that much but, if you’ve got some patronizing or malicious energy about it (‘here mutt go fetch’ or throwing it to dangerous places or something like that) they typically aren’t too happy about that and you are likely to loose a finger or some arm(s).

The same can be said of ya do that pretend to throw it then hide it behind your back, even in good fun that’s some finger losses.

Also can hinge a bit on who you are, intruders do not get the privilege of trying to distract them from their job (protecting whatever their current task is), and they are a bit weary of those outside the mechanicus and even more so with those outside the imperium
