He’s an anxious little thing, yeah, but he’s also a crucial part of what keeps Tempest Biotechs up and running. He’s a secretary--of Setekh, no less--which means he gets to deal with every person who comes up the elevator to heckle talk with Setekh.
At first, maybe, he was a little meek and very eager-to-please and just about everything you would expect out of a new secretary of the most powerful dragon in the city. But after a while? He’s got that customer service smile down pat, and not even the smarmiest or smoothest of talkers (at least, talking about business...) can phase him. With a boss like Setekh, average mob bosses and angry business folk are a walk in the park.
Soon, it’s only Setekh that can really set him on edge, and even then, he knows that she won’t--can’t--follow through with her threats of demoting or firing him. Because without him, she would get nothing done, and there would be a dozen people, angry or otherwise, banging on her door 24/7. Setekh knows this, and Jericho knows it.
Despite it all, he knows his worth. Sure, he much prefers to roll over and back out of a confrontation than pick a fight, but there’s much more backbone to him than meets the eye. You couldn’t survive a day on ATLAS’s streets without one.
