Anna hadn’t even realized that she’d fallen asleep until she was waking up, curled against Kris’ side and one arm draped over his torso. It took her a moment to fully wake up from the nap, but she eventually lifted her head so her chin was resting on his chest. “Was I out long?”

Camilla was moving through campus, wanting to capture everything in photographs. She’d always heard stories from her parents, but seeing how things had been before she was born was magical. She had her camera focused on a reunion beneath one of the trees on the quad, when someone walked straight into her shot. Opening her mouth to see if they wanted their picture taken, she paused. “Dad?”

The glorious thing about being on vacation, is that Anna put more planning into sight-seeing than she did getting ready. It didn’t take long after she woke up to text Kris to meet her in the lobby before she was heading down to the breakfast buffet to grab some food. Travelling had always been one of her favorite things--well, minus the actual traveling part--so it was no shock that she’d bought as many travel guides as possible. As she waited at the table, she flipped through one of the guides, pushing fruit around on her plate absentmindedly.
