“ i know this is last minute and all, and fuck, i’m sorry ‘bout that and stuff, but i’ve gotta take my little sister to her club stuff and i’m out two staff and my parents are good for nothing, so could you watch the store for me for a few hours tomorrow? ” chris was practically as close to pleading as he’d ever gotten in his life. he didn’t want to have to close the shop for a couple hours earlier than it needed to be, and the thought of letting his nine year old sister have to catch a bus cross town alone made him want to throw up.
