“Mac.” Heather moved towards the smaller woman with a tentative smile on her face, honestly it wasn’t like her to ever be hesitant about anything but when it came to hanging out with the girl she once considered one of her right hand women things were different. Not on the surface sure because Chandler couldn’t allow herself to be seen to have any kind of weakness or softer side, but she’d watched the other go through the ringer along side her that year at school. It had actually been painful to see, it had given her a feeling of guilt she’d not had properly before. “Sorry, Neta, old habits die hard. I’ll get used to it eventually I’m sure.” Tucking some hair behind her left ear she offered a tight smile at her friend. Could they still be called friends? “Are we still going to get coffee? I have a place I want to go, they make better coffee than all those terrible chains this city has.” @wundcrlust
