Welcome to my little web series called What’s In My Head Right Now. The idea is to post a couple of short guitar pieces every so often. Nothing too fancy, just solo pieces to highlight the gear that I’m using.
My recording setup looks like this: • Windows 7 PC • Cakewalk Sonar Platinum • Presonus Firebox • Mesa Cab Clone • Two Notes Torpedo Wall of Sound speaker cabinet simulator
No real microphones or speaker cabinets are used on these recordings. I go from the amp into the Mesa Cab Clone acting as a load box, and then run a line out straight from it into the computer, where I can add 1 or more virtual speaker cabinets with the Torpedo Wall of Sound cabinet simulator.
The Breverb plugin is added on most tracks, I like the hall and plate reverbs in there a lot.
Adding some @MesaBoogie rhythm chunk to "Obsessional "with the #CabClone .
