So, we went to Cabella's today, just to pop in and look for a sec, because we occasionally have excess money, and I've a hankering for crossbows and zee wife has a love affair with them as well, and we both have our master zombie plans. Plus, we needed to peek at one of their lovely, lovely stuffed figures for art references, and names and junk.
We go in behind this lovely couple, a gentleman in a camo shirt and his girlfriend, judging by how close they were, and there was this gentleman, an older fellow, handing out membership invites and junk, with like a deal to entice any young thing interested in hunting and the like. You know, the usual. He handed it specifically to the young gentleman in camo, though he was the furthest away, not offering one to the lady. All right, cool, I didn't hear them talk, not that nosy, just notice weird junk, and they walked along.
Then we pass the gentleman, and he quietly tucks away the cards, and offers us a hello, and a nod of his head. And then, invisible, because another gentleman was strolling in behind us, and as it was busy, we had no time to really register what had happened, until after the fact.
I just wanted to make it known that little subtle things like that, bug the absolute shit out of me. I don't like being looked over, because I might not be the typical demographic, because if I'm in your store? I am a part of it.
Excuse me, I'll just find other places to shop.
