Doodle him because he grumpy
Caught like a deer in headlights.
Thank you for the inspiration @azul1462 this is probably the most 'serious' colored thing I've drawn digitally in a while.
They were going to be training, but it seems like something's caught Cacao Sr's attention. They'll have to put it on hold, for the time being.
while scrolling through the page i deadass thought cacao sr. was dark choco and had to scroll back up and was like oh nvm
Small little infographic :V The hair is only different by a single shade or two, and the skin/dough color is the exact same.
The similarities are striking, aren't they? It's no wonder in that rough 'Dark Choco gets transported to the past' AU that he initially thinks that Cacao Sr. is the cookie he ends up becoming. I wonder how much of his father Dark Cacao/Bittersweet sees in Dark Choco Cookie.
Edit: I'm tired and hungry and I made a small mistake. Dark Cacao Sr's hair doesn't have purple undertones, it has very subtly red undertones. Here's how it looks on the color wheel compared to Dark Choco's:
I have... an Urge now. To explore this dynamic. This shift of power. Dark Cacao Sr., having the whim of his fate in the hands of a bored cookie who can change everything for him at the snap of her fingers.
Dark Cacao Sr. is no fool. Whoever this cookie is, she is dangerous. And he likely would not be able to take her on in battle. Play the field carefully, Dark Cacao Sr. You are at her whim.
He does not like feeling like a bug in a jar to be poked and prodded, but it's not like there's anything he can really do about it right now.
Did you know that if you put a staircase in your pants slot you'll get the lucky purple shorts
How does that work out in-universe I wonder
'King Dark Cacao (Senior), forgive my curiosity, but--that scar on your eyebrow... how did you get it?'
'I took my idiot son fishing once and the hook got wedged in my eyebrow.'
'I see... hmm. You must have been angry about that, huh?'
'I mean--I was, and I did yell at him over it. But it was an accident and I'm over it now.'
'Really? That's all you did?'
'Why are you squinting at me like that? He was six. Accidents happen when kids are six. Shut the fuck up.'
'You just seem like someone who would be a little more--well--'
'Quick-tempered?'
'--reactionary.'
'What did you expect me to do?'
'Well, it isn't any secret that you aren't terribly fond of your own son--'
'What?'
'Is that not true? From how you talk about--'
'Say that one more fucking time and you'll taste the steel of my blade against your throat.'
'I--I--well--I apologize, my lord--'
'You should. That boy and his mother are the only two good things that have ever happened to me, and now he's the only good thing I have left.'
'...What about your brother?'
'...We don't talk about him.'
'I see. I... apologize for bringing him up.'
'...It's fine.'
