Hello, I am a Pokemon researcher but have noticed that my Maractus, instead of making the typical flowers, is instead producing cactus fruit at the top of the cactus limbs on their head. I doubt this is normal and I would like to know so I can see if this is temporary. P.s The Maractus in question is a female named Marie that I had since my trainer days
From what I remember reading, it’s more common to see in Maractus owned as pets than any others. Usually it’s the result of them having extremely easy access to water, food, and sunlight that’s also extremely constant.
It’s not a bad thing at all, in fact, some believe that Maractus with fruit are the healthiest. I’d just keep an eye out for some unwanted attention, as it tends to attract Bug-type and Avian Pokemon.
