I mean there is someone who if she asked me out I would probably say yes even against my better judgement. But that isn’t going to happen so I don’t have to worry about that lol. But generally yes very open to being in a relationship right now.

13) What is your least favorite outfit ever?

Everything Milk ever wore. But like especially the outfit where she dressed up as workroom Ru. Like I appreciated how clever it was…but I hate looking at it. Milk just made me uncomfortable. 

3) If you had to think up a mini/main challenge, what would you want the queens to do?

The comedy challenges are always my favorite but sadly I’m not funny enough to think of any new ones. If I was in charge like every challenge would be Snatch Game and then the mini challenge would be the reading challenge. BUT I would love to see a cosplay challenge where they had to all dress up as their gemsonas. Like the Hello Kitty challenge but with Steven Universe!!! 

9) What is Ru’s worst EVER decision?

Oh GOD. I mean I almost always agree with Ru. Like 99.99999% of the time. But how the hell did Pearl end up in the top three and not Katya?! I also question her choice to like, let the queens vote each other off in All Stars 2. Still not sure I’m digging that.

🐬 if you could transform into any animal/magical creature, what would you be and why?

I think a centaur. I’ve always been very enamored of the centaurs in Fantasia. Which basically means I want to chill in a lagoon all day and have cherubs put flowers in my hair and braid my tail. 

🍄 talk about someone/something you really dislike

I really dislike boys who come up behind girls at bars or parties or whatever and like grab their waist. That is probably my least favorite human behavior I’ve ever experienced firsthand. 

📚 share 3 books that you love and your favourite quote from them.

Oh man I don’t think I can remember a quote from all of them!! I’ll try to remember a scene or something. 

The Glass Castle: This actually has stuck with me…there’s a scene I think where Jeanette is looking at the flame of a candle and describes its flickering as “the line between turbulence and order” and I just always thought that captured her struggle so eloquently, and the state of constant tension that someone in her position would experience.The Perks of Being a Wallflower: Man I can’t for the life of me think of my favorite quote from this but I do love when Charlie gives Patrick his Secret Santa present which includes the three things every person should have: a magnetic poetry set, a harmonica, and a watercolor palette. Once my friend Laney gave me all those things for Christmas :’)Coraline: The scene where the Other Mother taps her button eye with her fingernail and the sound slowly becomes the the dripping faucet. Oh god I wish I had the book with me so I could find the exact quote…it’s so haunting. It’s stuck with me for 10+ years.

turquoise: weirdest dream you’ve ever had?

Ummm I had this dream once where there were tons of tiny, colorful sea mammals all over the beach and I had to save them. Like tiny narwhals, tiny whales, tiny seals, and they were all crazy beautiful neon colors, and there was a whole trail of them along the beach, and when I followed the trail it led to a whole store full of these tiny guys where they owner just, like, piled them in barrels. And I was so upset and I tried to set them all free into the ocean but they were all impossibly heavy and I couldn’t lift them up :(

I also have a ton of sleepwalking stories. One time I was dreaming that we were about to enter a worldwide drought so I came running downstairs and tried to unhook our dishwasher. True story. 

sunlight: least favourite song?

Omg I am drawing a blank right now why is this happening? Okay for the longest time that Banana Phone song (which isn’t even a real song I think it’s been exclusively used by Potter Puppet Pals) annoyed the shit out of me. 

Also Rude. That song played every ten minutes the summer I worked at the beach and only got one radio station.

boardwalk: who is your favourite fictional couple?

OH MY GOD I CAN’T PICK JUST ONE!!!! Okay I think this award has to go to Zuko and Mai, or my original fave Darren and Ginger. But honorable mentions to Korra and Asami, Aang and Katara, Ruby and Sapphire, Greg and Rose, Steven and Connie…I have to stop myself. 

EDIT: As per Molly’s astute observation Arnold and Helga should absolutely be on this list.

Rainstorms: What helps you fall asleep?Honestly not much. It takes a long time for me to fall asleep no matter what. If I’m really desperate then Sarah McLachlan’s Mirrorball. But usually I just make up stories in my head until I fall asleep.
