1-5 for cadby for the oc ask thingie :0c
1: Origins! How did you come up with the concept for your OC?
~I first made him up in a game named Dragon’s Dogma. Cadby is actually still a work in progress even though he’s one of my older OCs. But I’d say I fully came up with his character two years ago. I had some ideas when I first made him, but I never gave him a personality other than him being shy. Now he’s a giant, sweet feminine baby that I love very much.
2: Were they originally well received by the fandom? Or if they’re fandomless, did the RP community take to them right away or was it hard to get attention?
~I’m not so sure anyone in the Dragon’s Dogma fandom is interested, besides my nerds ( @limesquares @carnoqueen @blu-spectre ). So I don’t know if he’d be well received or not, I would hope so.
3: Has your OC gone through different incarnations during their stay on Tumblr? Were they reimagined or have they stayed the same all this time?
~He’s definitely been re-imagined throughout my years on the Tumbl. He went from shy, obedient pawn to slaying giant pawn with eyeliner that is always on fleek.
4: How do you get into your OC’s mindset to write for them? How do you find the muse for them?
~I scroll through his folder on my Pintrest, looking through all of the pins I saved for him helps me get into his head, so to speak.
5: Were you nervous about putting your OC out there? How long did it take before you decided to play your OC here on Tumblr.
~I wasn’t or won’t ever really be nervous talking about Cadby here or anywhere because he’s my child and I love to talk about him whenever someone gives me the chance to (like now). I don’t have to worry about showing art of him because I can’t draw for the life of me. (:
