As some of you might have noticed... There may have been some... Stirrings over here over the last few days. And, yes, that is indeed the case. After over two years of absence, Mod Jazzy’s returned, and brought along yet another familiar face, Mod Caesar from adventurous-amyne! I firstly would like to apologize on my own behalf for such a prolonged and unannounced absence. Life, as it often does, got in the way of my work here, as was somewhat noticeable towards the tail end of my posts leading into January 2017.

I don’t want to bog you all down with excessive detail, but to cap it all, I ended a very painful, mentally and emotionally straining relationship (I won’t mince words, it was abusive), my living situation became somewhat dire temporarily, and my overall health took a bit of a tumble. I also took up another major and a minor to make sure I could graduate from Uni on time 8 n 8. Regardless of the circumstances, I wish I had at least announced that I needed to take a hiatus, and I’m sorry for that. I’ve missed this community dearly, and I hope to be able to pick up where I left off, with a few minor adjustments, of course! [From Cae++ Jazzy and I have been through dire straits, and finished fording them only recently. If anyone recalls what I was doing before my page was deleted- I was doing a giveaway and mentioned that my roof in my home was leaking. Fast forward a few weeks after that, and some health issues of my own, and I found black mold and fungus growing from the source of the leak. Gross- and also incredibly unhealthy. Thankfully, it wasn’t septic. Anyway, I was thoroughly screwed over on 1000$+ bills from the other two roommates, police nearly were involved, I had to relocate practically overnight to a relative after gutting the rented house completely to clean it of the accumulated junk from 6 previous roommates, and my own mental health took a drastic downswing. I’ll spare the details, but I will say I nearly flunked out of school. Jazzy and I had to support one another during this time, due to their own housing issues and mine own, and the fact that the relationship aforementioned was actually a mutual of mine- a long standing one that spans the better half of a decade now and was altogether a very messy scenario.

But fast forward to now- she and I have better and more secure housing situations, are fixing to finish school, and have emerged from our dark little patch of forest to face the light of day again to throw some art at you!

She offered a space on her page for me since, like usual, I need handholding to be consistent with literally anything in my life, but that’s neither here nor there. The age of Cae++ and Jazz starts now!]

So, with that little tidbit of explanation aside, I’m sure the next question is, “Hey, Jazzy, when the heck are you gonna get to those ask queues? When are we gonna start seeing in character posts, and all those characters you teased three darn years ago??” Ha, just kidding, I asked myself that. And I have an answer! Starting Monday, February 4th, 2019 (unless otherwise stated) posts will resume in queue, posting thrice daily (and then twice daily about halfway through) until the queue runs out towards the end of the week, and then the blog will be open for asks once again! We are both looking forward to reconnecting with old friends, and making tons of new ones, and we hope that you’re as eager as we are to get the ball rolling! Thank you all so much for your patience, and keep your eyes open come Monday! Until then, if you all wouldn’t mind helping to spread this around, we both would be incredibly grateful! <3
