something has to happen to diluka or kae’ja right. for his part of the story to work. or he has to Achieve His Goal (he does not). i need to break it down more i think.
like. ꩜꩜꩜. in the “Era of Flame” he’s incredibly determined and self-destructive in a way. like he doesn’t rest. he just Continues. plus the whole “magic object draining your life” thing.
it’d be really cute for vasiliy to nurse him back to health like cillian and nikolay…. because how else is he supposed to get home. i think it makes more sense for something to happen to diluka than to kae’ja. also also because of the Anonymous Suicide Mission / Disappearance thing. i like them a normal amount.
