june ended up being a no writing month, but july ended up being better. i even finished up 3 fics & posted 2. 💪

tho my wip list did not go down at all lmao. i'm forever buried, but don't help me. i'm right where i wanna be.

also, uh. i just surpassed 200k words total posted on ao3. very wild to me.

and 130,598 of those words are just royed... from the first fic i posted in june of last year to now. these boys have taken over my life. 💙❤️

i think a big part of what's keeping me from being able to write again (aside from irl stress & my health being shit) is worrying that my characterizations are actually awful & my writing in general is actually just bad and getting worse instead of better.

ofc i'm pro-self-indulgent writing, but i worry i'm too self-indulgent to the point of completely ruining the characters & their personalities & everything that makes them them.

idk it's silly to worry about probably, but i just love royed & fma so much & i love writing so much that i don't want to fuck it all up and make unreadable fics that are so far removed from what makes roy roy & what makes ed ed & what makes fma fma. idk. i'm sorry. i'm just Going Through It™️ ignore me lol.
