I’m reading “Circe” by Madeline Miller right now and every time they mention Helios, I think of you 😂
Ah!!! I bought a copy of Circe along with ASOA but haven’t gotten around to it yet. This makes me want to read it soon. I wonder if... Helios is as much of a fucko as I am :^) 🧡🧡🧡
Your new icon 😍 I’m going to be very (happily) distracted every time you pop up!
Thank you so much, Cait! 🧡🧡🧡 He was SO pretty in TFA.
hey! how about 🎢📣 and 💎 for "slow like honey?"
Cait! Thank you so so so much for the ask about Slow Like Honey!!
🎢- Were there any scenes you were nervous about? For audience reception or otherwise?
Yes. The smut! I was still brand new at writing smut and was so afraid of reusing too many of the same analogies or adjectives. Very very worried about all that. Also the reconciliation-- I wanted it to feel organic and not rushed, also wanted to show that sometimes it is sheer emotional exhaustion that pulls someone through their decision and then they just hope for the best. Luckily, it worked out for the reader!
📣-What was the best piece of encouragement you got?
Oh!!! I received so much helpful feedback; I can’t remember one in particular, but I know it was a combination of a few that really helped me get the ball rolling. The first few chapters were kind of spontaneous and fun but there were comments about Sarah’s characterization and then reader’s decision to not have children was something people identified with and appreciated being brought up in a fic. Anyway, after that I had to really buckle down and get serious about it. I wanted to be responsible about how I wrote these topics!
💎- What was your favorite part?
dsjfaldsjfaldsj Sam at the picnic. The gold star on Steve. That. Stupid. Gray. Shirt!
