Hey, so, I've been following u for a while now but I wonder about a thing. Why do you reblog your own posts and tag them with the notes they have? I don't get it but i'm curious if u have a reason for it, or just doing it for fun?

I mostly reblog my own edits, which is done because I post them sporadically and I’ve been told people enjoy them, and I get new followers everyday from all time zones.

The general posts like the buffalo one or whatever is when someone reminds me of it’s existence, which I’ve generally forgotten and find it amusing that it’s still out there, and figure may as well remind others, or show to new people. I think I’ve gained a couple hundred followers since I last reblogged it :D

The notes are included so I know for future if there’s any interest in the post based on the number of notes it got when I last posted it. I also get asks about edits I’ve done months ago that compliment them, so I know there are people out there who’d find them amusing.

All my self reblogged edits are tagged with “Cait edits things x” and a specific edit name or reblog-related name. Most of the other posts I reblog from myself have only names to. e.g. The post about the word buffalo is tagged “Buffalo post”.

TL;DR: Mostly for my own or others amusement, you can block most of them with relative ease if desired
