Julian might not have been the biggest fan of the Crown of Shadows Charity auction to begin with, reminding him way too much of his past for his own likely. But, he did enjoy bidding on it and was happy to go on the date with the blonde he had met a few days back. He knew she had requested they meet in town, but he figured he’d pick her up outside of her house to surprise her. What could he say? He was a bit old fashioned like that. Pulling up in his black aston martin, he walked up to the front door and rang the bell, hoping that she’d find him picking her up to be a pleasant surprise and not the other way around. “Hello, Love. I hope you don’t mind, but what kind of gentleman would I be, if I didn’t pick you up?”
