Imagine going to an art gallery with Caitlin Snow.

“So why an art gallery?” Caitlin asked, your held hands swinging back and forth as you stopped in front of a piece of art. You didn’t want to be a jerk about it but it just looked like scribbles in color that a primary student could do. You tilted your head to try to look at it from another angle.

Nope. Just scribbles.

“I thought you liked this sort of thing.” You said, moving on to the next piece. “And I sort of like art-”

“You like Banksy.” Caitlin corrected.

“That’s the best art there is!” You protested. “At least you can make out what it is. Like what is this-” You motioned towards what you were looking at now. Caitlin also looked confused. “It looks like someone spilt a bunch of cables. It looks like my dad’s junk drawer.”

“I’ve seen a machine like this in Star Labs, I think.” Caitlin said, peering at it. “Do you just want to go to Jitters instead?”

“God, yes.”
