June 24th, July 8th & 22nd Would you like to train and exercise with a professional athlete? Join Josh Honeycutt, 2013 US Champion in the triple jump and aspiring Olympian. There will be three sessions available to any teenager. The training sessions cover a multitude of aspects such as warm-up, cardio, speed, lifting, stretching, and much more. After the workouts enjoy a nutritional smoothie and a classic sports movie to relax after a tough training session. This is a great opportunity to learn, exercise, and hang out with your friends! June 17th 1pm-6pm Have you always wanted to design your own skateboard deck? Are you an artist looking for an unusual canvas? Join our Board Builder's Workshop with artists-in-residence Nicole & Scott to design your own deck. Completed decks will be displayed at White Chocolate during the summer gallery walk, after which their creators can take them home. Maker Faire
May 27th 11am-4pm Calling all tinkerers, makers, builders, and inventors! The Hays Public Library will have a whole day of machines, metal, and more devoted to you. We will be practicing stop-motion animation, forging, sewing, jewelry-making and anything else we can get our hands on. Gardening Club
Thursdays 10am Come have fun in the sun out at the Ag Research Center with Nicole. Play in the dirt and experience nature first-hand. We will be planting and caring for plants all summer long. Picnic snack included. Tabletop Club June 7th & 21st, , July 5th & 19th 1pm-5pm Board games offer a variety of interactive and exciting experiences. Come play some popular games with Scott Rader, board game enthusiast, and meet new friends. We will serve lunch and snacks with every Tabletop day and will explore games in several themes, including: Deck Building, Fantasy Games, Horror Games, and Games with Cute Animals.
