My calathea musaica
I am beyond surprised that this lovely Calathea Musaica survived it's trip from Sri Lanka. I missed the postman yesterday, and it was shipped on the 12th of this month (making it basically a week in transit). When I opened the crushed package, this guy was inside, very thirsty looking and slightly wilted, but very much alive. I made a rush stop to Home Depot to grab a suitable pot and soil, and also ran to the other store to get distilled water. Here's to hoping it perks up and stays alive! Quiet days with plants and crystals 💕 I’m happy my Calathea musaica is enjoying its new spot in my bedroom. Placing it away from a window in a bright room keeps this plant happy. This particular calathea has been one of the easiest growing plants and calatheas for me and doesn’t give me much of a hard time. It was at the top of my wishlist years ago, which thanks to @landofalicestudio I was able to add to my plant fam. Four years with this special plant and I’ve been able to propagate and share with others myself.
