‘‘Hi, nice to meet you! David wasn’t it? Caleo, Harper’s mom.’’
‘‘Ah yes, nice to meet you too.’’
Mitchell: ‘‘?????’’
Mitchell: ‘‘When did my daughter grow up so fast???’’

‘‘Hi, nice to meet you! David wasn’t it? Caleo, Harper’s mom.’’
‘‘Ah yes, nice to meet you too.’’
Mitchell: ‘‘?????’’
Mitchell: ‘‘When did my daughter grow up so fast???’’
‘‘Harper, this man came over for you and- Oh..!?’’
‘‘Sweetie, Mitchell maybe we should leave them be.’’ Caleo chuckled at her suprised husband.
‘‘But...’’ he began, but she shushed him and put her hand on his shoulder, gently nudging him away from the couple.
‘‘Come on, let’s go to the living room.’’
‘‘but......What?’’
‘‘I’ll explain then, now come on now, before they see us.’’
While her dad had wished her good luck early that morning, as he had to go to work. Her mum met her right at the front door to give her some encouraging words and a big hug.
‘‘You’ll do fine hun, you’re a great writer, and he sees it too.’’ Caleo smiled at her daughter all dressed up, but the panicked look on her face gave away just how Harper felt. She hugged her daughter tightly ‘‘Just have faith in yourself alright?’’
Harper nodded , straightening her shoulders and trying to look more confident, she could do this!
‘‘Well off you go, and good luck’’
‘‘Harper, honey?’’ There was a soft knock at her door, her mother’s voice pulling her out of her sleep and making her sit up. ‘‘Are you awake? can I come in?’’
She rubbed the sleep out of her eyes, her voice still raspy as she answered ‘‘Sure mom, I’m awake.. sort of.’’
Visiting Meghan and Rosanne, since Oliver and Ravi are on a father son day.
Mitchell adores his grandchildren. Especially Rosanne.
Instead of talking about, whatever it was that her mother wanted to talk about, at home, they went to the park.
It was a lovely day, and Harper had been hauled up inside way to long working on her book.
Yes, her new book, an actual novel. It had taken her a long time to write. But it was finally, almost ready. Having it edited and published however, was a different story.
But walking around outside put a temporary halt to these thoughts, enjoying the fresh air she hadn’t had for a while.
‘‘Sure mom.’’ she stretched, starting to feeling her limbs again ‘‘Be down in a sec.’’
Taking a walk with a lazy dog that doesn’t want to walk is not a good combination.
