plants; obviously it's kinda easier to grow em in cali than in ny despite both their geological variation throughout the state but i found that they definitely administer a more robust policy to care for their plants in cali and it shows. also succulants. succulants every where and what's not to love about that?
wont get into too much details on this one but i was blessed by a roomie that works at nasa and that dude had some OD fire shit every day i was so fucking gone. you know my ass was stanning @ his job position for sure tho.
the architecture was purely inspiring to me, shits on nyc's sad ass buildings any day. even the old ones had a bit more life to em than our prison like complexes lol. definitely trying to incorporate that into future architectural sketches.
also experienced what 80s synth rock artists was feeling when they cruised by the shore and created the synth rock bops i love. ya boy felt like michael in lost boys without the vamps.
i finally tried in and out, it was as good as it looked in the tumblr pics. at one point i was walking to the apt i was staying holdin a box of in and out and had 2 guys ask me where i got it and like 30 heads glance over like they was gonna snatch it from me. the in and out thirst is real.
while in cali when i visited the hood in wyatt me and my girl bumped into some cool ass ex-gang members that were filming a documentary about how the hood gets exploited by fakes in the business and it sounded like A1 shit preaching to the choir. we started talking and they were mad cool to us, we were just talking about similiarities and differences between our hoods, from wash heights to wyatt, compton. it felt really good and sincere.
