Akira was lost in thought, in between completing his assignment and doodling on the paper. As usual, spending time in class seemed to waste away at his time. Mona kept him entertained at least, as well as texts from his friends from time to time. But nothing prepared him for for the teachers unexpected announcement. A new student? Not that it was a surprise, not to long ago Akira was the new student.
He seemed to be in the same position as he, from afar he seemed to be shy and not much of a talker. Wait a minute.. wasn’t that? Karter. It had to be. All Akira needed to confirm it was hearing teacher read out his name. He’s seen him plenty of times around Tokyo, more then a few times at this point. And meeting again like this just proves that were fated to meet. Well at least, that’s the idea he got when he met eye to eye with Mona. He watched carefully as Karter took the seat the next to him and leaned in a bit.

Even after the girl running the event had just finished her explanation, he was still a little confused about all of this ‘speed dating’ stuff. How was he supposed to get to know someone for only a few minutes...? Of course, there was always the timer in the middle that they could press for more time but there was no guarantee that his ‘date’ would want that too...!
