So... Spent the afternoon at #UFCGymMililani and I know I'm going to catch shit for this, but when have I ever given you anything but the truth. I understand beginner classes and the want to make money, but I noticed with the beginner Jiu Jitsu and MMA classes, the kids are treated without much attention, clinic style, where you go through the motions without the much-needed attention to form on which one would build upon. I didn't see a lot of discipline, more of the coaches saying "shut you mouth and pay attention." I don't believe in that kind of instruction when it comes to teaching children. I don't know, maybe I don't know what the fuck I'm talking about, which is what the staff will inevitably claim when they see the hashtags, but I've seen and experienced enough to know that if you're looking for quality instructions with discipline and respect paramount, look elsewhere. From what I've been told, the advanced classes that you actually have to pay for are much more in-depth. Go figure.
