I finally got to re-read The Giver on our car ride to DC. There was so much I couldn't remember and I wanted to be caught up before I see the movie (because it could tell from the trailers that I might be disappointed in it). Anyway, it was incredible. I knew that I loved it, but couldn't remember why since I hadn't read it since I was like 12 or 13? Easily one of my favorite books I all time.

Okay, but why did I have four pieces of pizza for breakfast and two pieces of cake for lunch???

Oh! Also! I asked a guy if we was done using the barbel from the squat rack and he said yes. I proceeded to pick up the 45 laying on the ground from his DL set up. He's like "oh, I can get that." I said "oh, no it's okay." He said "no, really, I can get it." I said "...I'm going to use it!" He said "oh, okay..." And walked away. I'm sure I came off meaner than I meant to, but like, damn, if I say I got it, I got it. And he wasn't expecting me to need a 45 for squats, so in your face!

Was feeling tired and like half-assing it today at the gym. Creeped Kelly's (shreddingtopanga) Instagram, and boom, all excuses gone. Went hard on legs and it was glorious. Thanks for being so completely wonderful, girly!

I want today to be leg day. But I am not feeling like getting off my ass again today.

Frying bacon at 1 AM because what else would I be doing?

I have been deep cleaning our apartment for 5.5+ hours and I still have the kitchen, taking out the garbage, and two more loads of laundry. It's not like we're slobs, it's just been a long time since we've organized/put shit away haha. I'm taking a hopefully quick Tumblr/Community break, but all the energy I had is quickly draining from my body. Wahhh.

Rewatching Community from the beginning. Probably the best decision I've made this year.
