On Sept 9th, at the Kinross Correctional Facility prisoners participated in a nationally-coordinated prison strike. Recently, the Michigan Department of Corrections released a statement that many of the prisoners are being released, back into general population in the next 90 days, if they have not had any disciplinary infractions. Although, this will not apply to Harold Gonzales.

Harold was to to be released from prison in the next year, to be reunited with his son. But because he helped calm down the prison riot he is being labeled a leader and retaliated in the most brutal of fashions.
