can you explain why you put Percy in Gryffindor ?? I'm reeeaaallly curious. and interested lol
Well, this is more of an explanation of why I wouldn’t put Percy in the other houses.
First, Ravenclaw is out of the question. I’ve never seen anyone sort Percy into Ravenclaw so…moving on.
A lot of people put Percy into Hufflepuff because his fatal flaw is loyalty. But while Hufflepuffs are loyal, they’re also patient, tolerant, and emotionally balanced. This doesn’t really sound like the boy who accidentally pushed Nancy Bobofit into a fountain in a fit of rage.
Now Slytherin. This one actually sounds kind of reasonable. Slytherin is associated with the element of water. Haha. Slytherins are also resourceful, ambitious, and good leaders. This is what breaks it for me though: “Slytherins tend to hesitate before acting, so as to weigh all possible outcomes before deciding exactly what should be done” (taken from the wiki). Percy’s pretty impulsive…
Which is a Gryffindor trait! He’s also brave and daring and short-tempered and all that so yeah…there you go.
I know that you don’t have to be 100% like your house and this is a crappy explanation so go ahead and put Percy wherever you want. Share your opinions with me!
