Find of the day. These precious little #Calypsoorchids! They were growing a meter or so apart, but the first is the common #Calypsobulbosa var americana, and the second is a hybrid with the northwestern var occidentalis, known as Calypso bulbosa X kostiukiae after specialist, Brenda Kostiuk. So would she be known as #orchidologist? I have lately been fascinated with all the local variations of #fairyslippers. The hybrids are not uncommon here.
