Carolina parakeet Was looking at pictures of extinct birds yesterday and then started to picture myself as one briefly and I still feel it a bit today. They were the parrot with the northernmost range and therefore were sometimes snow parrots! Native to the southeastern United States, they even lived in my state of Kansas. I feel a connection to them and I love them a lot and it was fun drawing this! The tree is supposed to be a beech tree, since this is a tree they enjoyed eating the seeds from. They were also cavity nesters, this one found an old abandoned woodpecker cavity to keep warm in during an unexpected snowfall!
Time to play every alterhumans favourite game: Is it a cameoshift or not?!
On today's episode, I have a phantom tail that I can't stop noticing and have no idea why!
Is it a kintype? Hearttype? Another headmate hanging too closely around the front? Or just another cameoshift?
Tune in next time to see if we ever figure this out!
hey ,, ive looked into fictionflickers for a while now but ive been looking at it and it seems as if ( as far as im aware ) its something which whilst someone is a flicker it doesnt like appear and dissapear through the period someone is one happens ,, whereas i go through days where i will identify as the character for about half a day then i will feel like myself again , do u know what this is called ? sorry if any of the way i put this was disrespectful , i am still learning terms etc .
This sounds like it could be an mshift or something, but I'm not quite sure! Flickers can last for any length of time I'd imagine, and if it's recurring during that interest then I'd say it counts! It might also be worth looking into cameotypes/cameoshifts.
Shifty woods
This forest always makes me feel cameo shifted as all kinds of different things for whatever reason, especially dinosaurs! Maybe because it's an old growth forest, something about it just gives me so many feels. It definitely has a wonderful energy to it and I feel very connected to this little forest. My mate also felt like a few different critters including an iguanodon when I brought her here. I felt briefly like two dinosaurs, something large and hadrosaur- like (I'm not sure what it was though) and also an ornithomimid. I have felt ornithomimid a handful of times but I've never had a cameo as a large four legged herbivore so it was a new experience!
Hello we are having a michael cameoshift. We have not had 1 in some time. We feel bubbly and want to laugh a lot but can not. Hello hello hello. We are here. I am here. Hello hello hello
I have a small problem, I'm dogkin but it feels like I may be polykin since every now and then I can feel feathered wings. I've narrowed it down to either a griffon, a basilisk or a hippogryph. Is there any way to tell for sure?
It could just be a cameoshift, not another kintype. Wings are a particularly common cameoshift.

Ok so out of the blue late yesterday, I suddenly felt giant phantom/astral wings (huuuuuge ones) and they haven't left since. Something tells me their feathery like a bird's. They attach at my shoulder blades (though the feathers at the base fall down to my bum) and have been giving me some aches and pains in that region. First off: any idea what might have caused this? Secondly: do any of you know of a way to sooth the aching? Thanks!
My guess is you are experiencing a cameoshift which is a type of temporary shift. I've heard that shifts to winged creatures are somewhat common for cameoshifts. I don't think that the always have a trigger, but for me I know that I can experience shifts into a gryphon's mindset and feel feathery astral wings on my back whenever I feel a need to protect someone.
As for the aching, I would try taking some pain meds if you can and try taking a hot shower. This should allow you to both stretch your wings and relax any tight back muscles. If you have any eucalyptus oil, use some of that to help reduce your stress. If anyone knows about you being kin, ask them to massage your wings. Or just ask someone for a back massage. If you are able to meditate or astral project, I would try to do so. It might allow you to take form with your wings and stretch them out that way.
