For the opening of the film director Mike Pecci needed to show the audience the layout of the drill site, show where all the characters were working, and set the chaotic vibe. Stedi-cam was the only option and to pull it off it required a lot of planning. Here is a camera map Pecci made for the crew so that the lighting team knows where to place units, so that the AD department had an idea of how many extras were needed and where to place them, and so the art department knew exactly what needed to be built.
