BLUE AND PURPLE FRIENDSHIP IS SO GOOD ... i think they would've been such a dangerous crewmate duo if they'd just worked together and it makes me so sad there isn't more fanwork exploring their dynamic together ... they are both so smart and they'd get along so well ... literally the first smart crewmate to go + the smart crewmate green says Should have gone first ....... raughhg

I am a Blime girly, but the appeal of Blue and Purple friendship is just SO!! Purple thinks Blue is reliable and dependable! Blue is the only person who Purple will listen to to take a nap, eat something, drink water. Blue makes Purple feel calmer and more at ease bcos they don't have to shoulder the entire load of a situation, and Blue helps them see beyond the need to ACT ACT ACT. Purple is also the type to leave sticky notes of their literary analyses in Blue's books, bcos even if Purple likes to scribble their thoughts in their books, Blue likes to keep theirs pristine. Blue keeps all of Purple's notes in a drawer.

AND YES, OMG. The first Crewmate that had to go bcos they were so close to figuring out the truth, and the last Crewmate surviving that should have gone first, hnnnnnng. I will NEVER shut up about Green acknowledging Purple as the Crewmate that should have died first. If they were just a little bit less entertaining or useful bcos of how they target Red, Green would have gone for Purple right after Blue.

I love them as the two most competent Crewmates that actually posed an active threat to the Impostors, I wish we got to see them work together, they both would feel so DONE with Red, they would have been such good FRIENDS.

Silly thing but thestarryartist’s purple not seeing the appeal to blue being hot and them hanging out is funny because image the show but purple doesn’t see the appeal to blue’s hotness and red getting jealous of blue and purple’s friendship

(also I love their series called emergency alert, pretty good except them using male and female terminology for the characters)

Tbh, Purple didn't swoon over Blue until Blue SPOKE. I do think Purple finds Blue objectively, aesthetically attractive, which is basically just a law of the universe at this point. But they'd appreciate Blue as a person if there had just been more time?

I'm fond of the idea of them both being huge literature nerds together. Blue has a doctor in elegiac poetry and Purple took a minor in folklore and mythology alongside their engineering degree, so they'd have a lot to talk about. They probably have little literary analyses sessions, and book exchanges together. It's a very sweet, insightful, enriching kind of friendship.

And yes, Red is ABSOLUTELY jealous of it. I love love LOVE when Red is jealous of Purple's friendships. They want to be Purple's best friend so bad, it's hard to accept that the person you want to be close to is closer to someone else, literally EVERYONE ELSE but YOU.
