Have arrived at our retro motel on #manitoulinisland only to be told that the ferry from the island down to Tobermory isnt working. My finger shows where we are and my thumb is where we are booked for tomorrow night. Fingers crossed the ferry is fixed overnight as otherwise we’ve got a hell of a long drive ahead of us to get back on track (at Manitoulin Island)

Roadtrip Update
So the road trip is going well. We've been here two weeks now and its gone so fast. We spent the last 3 days in Goderich on Lake Huron and met up with a couple who are friends with my husband and their 6 year old daughter. Although we had fun and it was nice to have her and Superpup play together, now that they have left i feel drained. I'm not used to interacting with anyone other than my husband for more than a day, so i'm kind of on 'social interaction overload now'. Also the wife of the couple gets on my nerves as she interrupts all the time and her 'stories' are always better/worse/more important than anyone elses. If she offers 'advice' she expects you to accept her opinion as being the right one no matter what your own opinions of the subject are. Its exhausting. On the plus side we are now back to the three of us for the rest of the trip and i already feel more relaxed again.
