Come. Originally titled "Noah's Ark", I wrote this song for my cell group- Noah's Cell. Sister Chaby, my spiritual Mother asked me over the phone to write a song for the cellgroup. I agreed and right after we hung up, these words and music came flooding from nowhere. I felt possessed as the song came to words from vivid scenes and pictures of rushing rain... I called her back after... ten minutes? And I sang it to her. If she was awed, so was I. I had no idea where that came from.
After several years, a friend from Papuri, Rhoen Del Monte, asked me if I would like to submit this song and maybe we could re-word it to make it more tuned for the album. I would have to finance the recording though because they were trying to raise money for Missions. He asked me if I would like to sing it with somebody. At first I said, no, that's okay, I don't have to. Then I realized, I would soon be going to Canada, and it could be my last chance to record a song. So, I agreed.
So, here it is... from the album Reaching The Nations In His Love. Hope you enjoy it. But more than enjoy it, I hope it would inspire you to "come and follow... Jesus".
