Not a prompt list super on topic but since you're kinda thinking about it:
Why is it a betrayal that he made the pact? Who does it inherently hurt and how, other than the demon gets his soul? Are you playing at all with the idea that the demons might be the good guys or are you playing tropes straight?

Thanks for the ask!
So there's ancient history with demons in Aeltaeon. There was the first war, where the god Vollenar betrayed his sisters and tried to conquer their lands in Aeltaeon - or, the middle realm - as his own, destroying one of his sisters in the process. The other sister won the war, and cast Vollenar into the abyss where he would become the first demon.
He cannot set foot in the middle nor divine realms. But after a few decades, he was able to extend his voice to one of the first elves, and offering her promises of power, we had our first warlock. He imbued his power into her, leaving her with a terrifying ability with which she would raze the kingdom and crown herself an empress - all while securing souls for her master. She was a powerful sorceress in her own right, and now, she had a fell gods power on her side. She slaughtered people with her abyssal power, thus condemning their souls to wander within the abyss for eternity, where they're all transformed into slaves, all of whom could also collect souls.
More centuries passed, and he grew powerful. In great fury, he waged war on his sister - Naereth, Queen of the Gods - and used Aeltaeon, the middle realm, as a battle ground. It was catastrophic, and even today there are some lands in the world that have never fully recovered.
The Divine Gods won again, and Vollenar, who had still not stepped out of the abyss, was tightly bound in divine magic - which hurts the Infernal - and is left as close to death as an immortal being can be.
So, that's the set up! Warlocks back then were direct traitors who sided with the demons to save their own skins. It gets complex with the gods involvement as well, but the majority worshipped the Divine. It's kind of a thing that nothing is truly good or bad, and everyone has the capacity for both; Vollenar is evil. Vor'gol is evil. Mordwen does bad things, but believes she is working for a good cause. The gods, for their part, have varying states of care for mortalkind. But one thing that holds true is that are all capable of both kindness and cruelty - and they're very petty.
Post-war, there was a time when demons still ran rampant. The holy soldiers of the Divine took care of that. It is incredibly rare now to see a demon in Aeltaeon, and a warlock hasn't been known to Aenora in centuries.
So there is history. It's been a long time, but people still cling to it.
The hatred for Eldwin is in all honesty kind of a knee jerk reaction. People are following what they've been brought up to believe, and no one cares to question why. Why did he make the pact, why is it so wrong, why does he deserve to be treated like this. Most people don't question it.
That is something we will explore in the main story.
I rambled, sorry 😅 But I hope this answers your questions!

Candle. I have heard of you. Yes.
*Sheee...does not sound hostile, exactly, but certainly not thrilled either-*
I randomly remembered Ivan's traffic light system for telling Leo if he's going to mess with him in the night, and now I've been Thinking about it.
Does Luke, when he finds out, give Leo a green nightlight?
When Leo first come home, is there a red-backlit bedside alarm clock? Does it get changed out for a green one ever?
Does a red light ever randomly shine through the bedroom window at night?
Or, in the holiday spirit, does Luke get a Fun and Quirky red Santa standing light, which triggers a Leo spiral because "Oh shit hegot a red light out what did I do what's he going to do I knew this was going to happen eventually-"
-🕯
The light system!! I swear I intended for more to happen with that (and still do), because there's something about it that dfjlskajfdsklaj
These are all brilliant whump thoughts - Luke probably doesn't learn about it for some time, but I'm sure he'd ask Leo if that would make him more comfortable or less comfortable (to have a green nightlight).
I think the second two thoughts are probably in line with things that may or may not happen - I had this whole scene concocted at one point where Leo is triggered by a innocent red light, I can picture him laying in his bedroom staring out the window at like, say, the lights of an ambulance or something, and starting to get lost in his head. I can't remember the exact specifics of the scene I had mapped out, but it was definitely along these lines. I'm sure it'll come back to me eventually, this is something I have always wanted to, and continue to want to, have come back up in the Luke timeline.
A story, yes i have a story. They told me this story personally.
It wasn't that much a while ago, isn't it? Not too long ago, but it felt like years.
A story of a person publishing writings, and a reader that's been keeping up.
But wait, have they met before actually?
It was on a day, talking about positivity and attitudes in places, did they actually interacted with each other.
Then they go silent, only passing by and giving each other thumbs up whenever they do. The writer would visit the reader's pieces, sharing their thoughts on the writings and arts.
On a random day, the reader came up to them, talking about a project with the magic of programming. They wanted to make a game and asked for a character description.
The writer was happy to help, and they parted ways again.
Then, the reader keeps coming back with updates, and the writer enjoyed seeing their progress grow each day.
Then, as a group of masked menaces approached the writer, the reader also got roped into the story.
Not that long after, the reader got invited to a place with shops and shenanigans before joining in on the chaos.
The reader and the writer got rid of titles and ended up with one title: Friends. They still are till today.
[In another word, Sugar wrote fics, Maus read some fics of theirs and the two interacted over positivity.
Sugar would check on Maus' blog for a while and leaving nice comments and reblogs before dipping away.
They interacted only with likes and reblogs until Maus sent an ask abt making a game.
During the anonpocalypse, Maus resurfaced as an audience watching the detective play and them got invited to Shops.
Like the square hole bc everyone ends up there, Maus joins Chaos and became closer. We're friends. The end]

Aww HI Zen!
Yeah that is how it went isnt it.
I am so happy that we get to be friends now!
Love you guys!
oh, whoops, too late. enjoy the rest of your time with your hair, Stanford. You’ve got little under a year and 4 months to try to break the curse, so good luck!

That’s what you think. But if you honestly believe I can’t reverse an amateur curse like that, then you’re sorely underestimating my capabilities! In fact, I have quite the lengthy practice with it. People are often cursing me….for some reason.
