Hello!
My name is Bella Andrade and welcome to my blog!
I am 16 years old and I live with a genetic disorder called Spinal Muscular Atrophy. I am currently a Sophomore in high school where I unfortunately spend most of my time just like everyone else my age. I enjoy playing The Sims, snuggling with my service dog–Blaine, and getting out with my friends.
I spend a lot of my time in the community wether by speaking for an organization called Can Do Canines that raises service dogs and places them free of charge for those who are in need of one or by doing service projects with my Girl Scout troop! In June, I also go to MDA camp where I get to go to camp with my friends who have some sort of Muscular Dystrophy.
I created this blog to highlight that I am just like everyone else even though I may look a little different and I might have some different abilities. I hope what you can take away from this blog is just that. I am so excited to do this, and share my experiences with you!
