I try not to make fun of other writers as a rule but. How do we feel generally speaking about those x reader ficlets that just lay out a random scenario them list out a bunch of characters it can be read as, none of which ever fit the story and many of which contradict each other. Y'all know what I mean right

Oooh good question!! It's a little hard, because most of them have very big personalities that would probably get tiring at some point in real life. Like Taiju is super sweet and I'd love to be his friend, but realistically dating him might get hard because I think he'd become overwhelming quickly. Same with Senku, who's a little rude and standoffish which I don't want in a partner, and even Ryusui who's just... A lot. So I'd say... Probably Gen, Minami, or Ukyo. They aren't super loud or intense, but they wouldn't be boring, either, and I think I could find a real harmony with them.
So this year I am participating in something my friends and I came up with the other day that we're calling Year of the Cringe, following up on our 2025 Year of the Freak. This year we're gonna be unabashedly cringy. I'm gonna get back into Danganronpa

Thank you omg!! 💞 Oooh favorite anime character in general is such a hard question to answer... But I think I'd have to say one of my nostalgic characters like Joseph Joestar or Edward Elric. Heck, Zakuro from Tokyo Mew Mew is up there in the ranking, she was my first major anime crush when I was like, 8 lol. I lovvvve my bsd and Dr Stone guys and gals but JJBA and FMA really shaped who I am today, dramatic as it sounds, I have to rank those blorbos ahead of even Xeno or Chuuya. Shigeo (Mob) from MP100 is also way up there because he has one of the most beautifully crafted character arcs I've ever seen- seriously, MP100 is incredible, everyone owes it to themselves to watch it tbh.
For the love of all can we PLEASE stop tagging regular fanart as "x reader"? When I search "[character] x reader" I'm looking for, you know, reader insert fanfic, not pretty drawings, and clogging up the tags is just annoying. This isn't Instagram, you only tag your posts with actually relevant tags here.
