Today Live, a sweet treat! Good friend, Academy Award-nominated Actress (American Graffiti) Candy Clark, will be joining us with her new book of Images, Tight Heads. Christmas present, anyone?
Loved her in The Man Who Fell To Earth alongside David Bowie, and in Zodiac with Jake Gyllenhaal and Mark Ruffalo. Add Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Twin Peaks, and she starred with Marjoe Gortner as Cheryl in When You Come Back Red Ryder, a part I played onstage in college a couple of years prior. Who wore it better… she did.
Candy and I clicked fast after our first meeting and ran around a lot BC (before COVID). We have like taste in music and have had a few quick visits at the Bowl before concerts, but we haven’t caught up in a long time. The last time she visited us here was early pandemic. There’s what to talk about. Can’t wait to spend more time in her effervescent great company.
