Absolutely in love with your ‘As thin of substance as the air’ art!! What brushes do you use to get that gorgeous speckled effect?

i use artrage so it might not be the exact same in other programs but i think it should be possible to replicate it. it's very easy. i used the same method for these drawings before.

i use a basic solid colour brush called ink pen in artrage and use the blending mode 'dissolve' on it. it will look like this (before/after):

if you play around with the opacity, you can create textures with more or fewer speckles:

(what is called 'wet palette knife' here is called a mixer brush in photoshop, i think.)

What do you think about the new mp100 eps?

THEY’RE SO GOOD!!!! 

My small take is that I think the start of Mogami arc’s pace is a little bit too rushed because it seems like they’re trying to focus more on the fighting scenes, like idk when I read the manga the creepy atmosphere felt so intense when Mogami!Minori started going on rampant, but in the anime it felt too weak and the other espers are like, “Oh nooooo she just stabbed her dad oh noooooo” when that’s one of the few scenes in Mogami arcs that made me go 👀👀👀 in the manga.

I guess the limited colors (black and white) in the manga takes big role on making the atmosphere feel more intense.

But overall the animations are gorgeous as usual and it seems so clear that Bones put all their hearts in the making of the anime (there are still more animated scenes than still images) and I really appreciate that!

its cuz ive only draw silly stuff so far!! dont be fooled they use their brains!!
