Graves loves reading No-Maj litterature; especially murder mystery and crime novels. He finds it fascinating how they do things without magic, and it’s also a good reminder of what the No-Majes are capable of.

Before Credence got into knitting, Graves tried to teach him how to carve wood figurines. Credence’s rough niffler stands proudly next to Graves’ detailed thunderbird (which is the house Graves chose at Ilvermorny; his other option was wampus).
