Canon Enhancing Technology
Canon is one of the top-leading brands in technology for cameras. Canon has spent time refining the little things about the camera to make it easier and better to use. Without Canon’s leadership, other camera companies would not be advancing technically either. It seems like once Canon comes out with something the next top brand is already following in Canon’s footsteps. Canon will last because they provide top quality cameras and they continue to surprise us for what’s next.
Canon is upgrading their auto-focus to perform better in lower light and still making it to be faster than other auto-focus cameras at the same time. Canon auto-focus is about 50 percent faster compared to other cameras made. In certain cameras such as the EOS-1D X, they made it easier to focus on smaller images in the frame of the camera. A new firmware update available with no charge can be accessed to help with the auto-focusing. Having an amazing auto-focus on a camera is important to update with the firmware because it allows for the high quality images that you need.
On February 6, 2015 Canon announced that the new Rebel DSLR would be featuring a 24.2 megapixel imaging sensor. Making them have the highest resolution in any cameras that are made now. This new camera will have an extensive ISO range of 100-12800 but it can also range up to 25600 if needed. With having a high range of ISO the footage starts get grainy and not look as appeasing to the eye. With the new camera the images still look crisp, clear, and clean. Even for low-light situations, the picture will still look crisp. In addition they also created a scene detection that gives the metering sensor for a more enhanced image. The reason the company is doing this is to let photographers get the crispest picture they can get.
Dumping footage has historically been a challenge. Canon responded with a new EOS will feature with Wi-Fi compatibility to drop footage. Transferring from the camera will all be done wirelessly to a device called the Canon Connect Station. It can store up to 1 terabyte of footage and you are able to access it from any phone or computer. Plus printing is included. You can print right from the station and it’s image processing features strong low-light performance. Its great for fast paced environments when working. Having it work for fast paced environments makes it easier for the crew to be able to dump footage and move on to the next scene. This really helps the camera industry grow to more enhancing Wi-Fi compatibility with cameras.
Canon is one of the top competitors in its game. It’s doubtful that it will go out of business any time soon because it keeps coming out with new and improved features. You never have to questioning what Canon is doing because of its proven results in high quality images and fast auto-focus. They make it easier on consumers with Wi-Fi compatibility will be the next big thing for cameras. Canon has done it again where it just keeps surprising us with new and improved cameras. With how fast the camera works itself it’s a great company to go with when going out to buy a camera.
