The boy stared at the slice of cake with a furrowed brow, many confused thoughts running through his mind as he pondered what to do. Finally, after a stretch of silence, he decided to ask, “Who are you?”

Everett gave a soft sight, walking into the back room and looking around. "Anyone here?" He asked softly, leaning on the wall. "I'm here... I just wanted to tell you... I'm sorry you were murdered by another version of me."

There was no response, but he got the feeling that he was being watched.
