Dan meanwhile, can see him being suspicious at first, but Wendy likes her so he just lets it slide (and maybe at some point, lets it slip that Wendy wanted a little sister)

In the Babysitter AU, since Pacifica meets Wendy when she’s really young and latches on to her pretty quickly, she gets to meet the Corduroy family at a pretty young age. I think Pacifica would’ve made friends with them, as sour and grumpy as she still was lol

Since this is my AU I’m also making the indulgent decision that she gets super close with the brother closest to her she, Kevin, bc I love a Paz and Kev friendship and Kevin is my son

I think Dan probably would’ve been like ??? ANOTHER CHILD??? But Paz was so little and so sad and kids shouldn’t be sad but since Dan can’t PUNCH away the sad he just kind of helps in his own manly Dan way, by being Paz’s weird second dad? Sorta

As they grow older she’s basically known in the household, in this AU I think Dan would’ve been the one to take Paz to the Sev’ral Times concert too they don’t need a plot they’re just in the background bonding lol

People would’ve eventually started calling her the blonde Corduroy lmfao

For the Blight siblings?

Edric settled on the couch, his eyes glancing at the mantle where the portrait of their family used to sit. It was empty now- removed following the separation of their parents. While Odalia had kept the business, Alador kept the manor as it was his family's ancestral home.

It was still quite strange. The very atmosphere in the manor had changed and, while Edric would've once felt as if he were always being watched, the manor now felt oddly peaceful. He couldn't explain exactly but with the absence of their parents' marriage, the tension had lifted.

His ear twitched when he heard movement and a smile curled his lips when he saw his sisters approaching. "Weird, isn't it?"

"What is?" Amity questioned, brow raising.

Emira plopped onto the opposite end of the couch from Edric and sighed, her head falling back on the arm. "Well, the portrait is gone," she chimed.

Amity nodded and her lips quirked into a smile. "That's true. Doesn't feel like mo- she's- watching us."

The three of them went quiet for a moment before they all smiled and Amity settled between her siblings with a happy sigh. For a while, the trio sat in content silence, letting it all sink in. There wasn't even an abomination butler to interrupt their peace. "This is nice," Amity murmured, her eyes gazing up at the ceiling.

"Yeah," Emira agreed. Looking at the sky as it darkened outside, she hummed and glanced back to her siblings. "Y'know...I had no idea I could feel this...relaxed here."

"Me either," Ed admitted. He adjusted his glasses and murmured, "Do you think we'll keep feeling this way?"

"I sure hope so," Amity answered. She drew a quick spell circle, creating a tiny fireworks show for her siblings. "Well...we're free." She laughed when Emira sat up and looped an arm around her neck, pulling her in for a hug. "Hey!" Edric joined, adding himself into the fray by throwing his arm around Amity's neck as well. "Nooooo~!"

"We're free!" the twins chimed happily, pressing their cheeks against Amity's cheeks as a means to invade their sister's space.

"You two will never stop annoying me, will you?" Amity muttered, a begrudging smile curling her lips.

"Never," Ed replied.

"Not in a million years," Emira added.

Yeah, there's still Ancient Weapons. The extent might be a bit less than is present in BotW as most of the Ancient Tech is being studied or kept for exhibition in museums. However, the idea of Link with a laser chainsaw is hilarious. I might have to come back to this with some art.

Color me curious about if your RGYP series will include elements from the WarioWare/Land series! Don't get me wrong, I love how youve characterized Wario (him being the weird uncle was a nice touch!), but his franchise has a fair lot of interesting characters, adventures and showcases his goofy yet effective abilities (like turning into Springy Wario when he's crushed, Count Wario when he's attacked by bats or his King Dragon hat, the Shoulder Bash, etc)

Given the backstory you devised for him, maybe the WarioWare staff are old workmates of his from his travels. Like he bartended in the lounge Mona was a singer in, he was a DJ in a club and befriended a regular named Jimmy T, he briefly worked as a Lab Assistant with Dr Crygor and Mike, was a sort of uncle-mentor figure to a wayward Ashley etc

Watching the latest WarioWare game just piqued me curiosity is all ^^

Anywho! To answer you question, yes, I've been trying to figure out how to incorporate more of the WarioWare/Land characters into the YPRG series. I feel that for a series that supposed to be about all of these characters, I've focused a lot on the twins. Which sort of make since, given the situation. But the other brother's have been lacking in background creation.

There are a few character from the WarmWare/Land that I'm trying to integrate in some way. The damage from never playing the games is not fully knowing any of these characters.

She found herself in the library yet again.

While most had been out there cleaning up debris or reconstructing homes, Lilith found herself at the mostly still intact remains of the library seeking out answers to assist with her own casualty of Belos’ attempt to possess the titan. The history museum, where Lilith had only just begun working at but had loved all her life, had been found to be a wreck. She was determined to protect what artifacts remained, although her own skills laid within documentation or model recreation, rather than restoration and preservation, and as such she found herself engrossed in learning as much as she could on the subject matter.

“Miss. Lilith?” a voice behind her had called out that she vaguely acknowledged, not looking up from her book, “Miss. Lilith, the library closed early today to start on repairs. And you’re here half past closing.”

Lilith had finally looked up to see the wide eyes of Amity Blight staring back at her, almost as if she had been unsure in her approach to older woman, and Lilith was reminded of how poorly she had left things with her former protege the last time they had encountered one another.

Camellia - what were you like when you were younger? Do you think you’ve changed a lot?

I think, like a lot of people, I was a lot less afraid of things as a kid. I’m working on getting back to that state. I used to be the kind of person that would pick up random spiders in my garage and just ,, hold on to them I guess? I dunno, they were just my buddies for the day. I’d put them on my fluffy white tutu dress and just transport them around, yknow, like a maniac entomologist. (If any entomologists are reading this, I promise I say this with love.) I still do just pick up and tote around random creatures but now it’s just things like lizards and frogs. As a kid, I saw snakes as Future Friends and insects as creatures to both hold and behold. Now I am much more wary of everything in the natural world. Still fascinated, but much less willing to jump into the unknown headfirst and trust that I’ll be okay. I think caution is necessary but my degree of caution now is excessive to the point of being capital A Anxiety. So yes, I have changed in that way. Also my hair went from midnight black as an infant to stark white as a wee lass and now we’re at red, so I dunno what that’s about. Def changed in that way too!

Palm tree do you have a fictional villain you shouldn’t like but love regardless?

Okay listen. Listen. I would love to be the kind of person that says they love villains and really MEAN it with my whole chest but alas, I have never much liked villains unless they were made to be at least 75% likable. It seems like having a villain to adore was a rite of passage in middle school, and I just never got it. Even the whole Gale/Peet’s debate never made sense to me. Peeta gang all the way, why go for someone with darker tendencies when there’s a golden retriever option, yknow?
