Getting your hopes up is the worst feeling when people usually let you down. It's like getting excited for that one job you thought you had in the bag because the interviewer made it seem so sure you were the best candidate only to end up not getting a call and you think "maybe they just forgot to call" no bitch, they just found someone way more qualified than you. Or when you go online shopping and find a cute kimono cardigan that's in your size and in your color and they say they have it at the store, so you excitedly ask them to put it on hold and rush over to the store, only to find out it wasn't even the right kimono you wanted, so you feel like you let yourself down for believing anything was possible. Yeah, life sucks sometimes.
