An American Girl in the 1940′s
It’s impossible to explain the importance of a fur coats in the American woman’s wardrobe in the 1940s. Simply put, it was the definition of elegance.
Something that has been bothering me as I’ve been working on season two of Chilling Adventures of Twins is the episode of CAoS in Season 2 where Blackwood poisons the coven. What happened to all the witches and warlocks? The way the episode plays out, it seems like Hilda and Zelda used some kind of potion/antidote/magic to save the ‘handful’ of witches we see at the end of the episode. But what about the rest of the coven? What happened to them? Did they die? If they died, why weren’t they put in the Cain Pit? I mean, how would Hilda and Zelda, of all witches, forget about its existence? We know they’ve had experience being in it or putting someone in it multiple times and have even warned/told Sabrina about it. Prudence tells them that the coven is still alive when she goes to Hilda and Zelda for help, so they would die sometime in between Prudence leaving the church but before Sabrina tries to put Satan in the puzzle box because Hilda and Zelda are there for that. But the show makes it seem like Hilda and Zelda cured, not resurrected, the witches we see at the end of the episode. If the coven didn’t die, where did they go? Did they just up and leave for a new coven?
