Istg if I don't figure this out I'm throwing my ipad out the fucking window so maybe someone here can help.
I create edits for tiktoks, I'm currently working on an edit I'm really proud of so far, it's an edit with A LOT of text.
Now the problem is that whenever I go to edit the video clips I added into the project, no matter what I do, it will always affect the text in some way, slow down a clip? The text gets stretched out, move a clip? The text has moved too, but the worst one is that if I delete a clip ALL OF THE TEXT UNDER IT WILL ALSO DELETE ALL OF THE TEXT UNDER IT which is so fucking annoying, cause I'm I'm chopping down a clip, and I delete a large part of the clip IT ALSO TAKES LIKE A QUARTER OF THE TEXT I HAVE WITH IT.
I wouldn't care if it just fucked with the texts positions but I can't just go back and redo all that text otherwise I'd be doing that for HOURS everytime I need to trim a clip, and I really don't want to do that, I think it's reasonable to think that's bullshit right?
Everywhere I look to fix this always talks about "track magnets" and "linkage" which are only related to capcut PC NOT MOBILE and anytime anyone ASKS about mobile in the comments? Nothing, fucking CRICKETS, you might as well have just not commented in the first place, would have saved you more time and had the same effect.
So my question is, is there a setting I need to like, turn on or off? Something I missed when I added the clips/text? Am I just fucking stupid???? Pls help me before I bash my head into a table🙏
