Classic Cape Cod cottage for swap with Ted & Paul
Our home is located in Eastham, Massachusetts, the first town within the Cape Cod National Seashore. It is a favorite vacation spot for many because of the gorgeous beaches, sand dunes, forests and bicycle trails. It is especially attractive to Gay travellers because of Provincetown located at the tip of the Cape. Provincetown is considered one of the "gayest" places in the world and has great restaurants, bars, theater and many beaches (Herring Cove has a wonderful nude section).
Eastham is about 25 minutes away from Provincetown by car. It is a great location if you want the peace and quiet of a rural beach community with the option of getting into the hustle and bustle when you feel like it. Boston is about 80 miles away can be reached by ferry from Provincetown or by bus from Eastham.
Our home is a "classic" antique reproduction cape with three bedrooms, two baths, Living/dining room, large kitchen, and a family room. It appears small but has lots of room and is very charming. Both the dinning room and the kitchen have large glass doors opening onto a huge deck, which can be used for entertaining or just lounging around in the sun. Directly off the deck is a fence- enclosed garden. The one and half acre property is covered with beautiful trees and left in a natural woodland state.
The home is comfortably furnished in a traditional style, with TVs in each bedroom and in the family room. A fresh water lake is a half-mile away and a "bay" beach is only a mile away. We love to walk to both. An entrance to the bicycle trail is nearby and we have two bicycles available. The neighborhood is very quiet and the neighbors are respectful of your privacy. If a restful vacation is what you are looking for, this is the ideal place. A rental car is necessary.
We would to spend a month in a similar home in England, Italy, France , Spain or Australia. To contact Ted & Paul, please see HOME AROUND THE WORLD, the world's leading gay home swap site.
