    Cape Verde formed its National Olympic Committee in 1989 and participated in its first Olympics as a country at the 1996 Atlanta Summer Olympics. They haven’t hosted any Olympic Games, but they’ve participated in 6 Summer Games and no Winter Games. The Olympic sports in which Cape Verde has competed in are Athletics and Gymnastics.
