A jumpscare death pops up on the screen of the game Kenos is playing. You hadn’t particularly planned on watching him play the game, but one part had caught your eye and got you interested. You hadn’t been expecting the jumpscare, though. It ends up in a scream coming up, and the moment you realize you’d screamed at it, you snap your mouth shut.

He questions you about it, asking why you screamed, looking at you curiously. Your face goes a little red from embarrassment, and before you have the chance to explain, he tells you that it’s not that scary... and asks if you were trying to make him jump, or scare him.

Well, you could attempt to pass it off as that? “Ah, yeah, yup! That’s what I was going for! I guess I failed at that! Haha...” Your voice is tense and it’s obvious you’re nervous. Shit, there was no way he was gonna buy that reaction, you probably should’ve come up with a different excuse instead of trying to play along.
