My super clever wife Sarah has made me a pair of felt mittens from some Blue Faced Leicester wool. She cleans the wool using charcoal, hand cards it then felts it into shape, no stitching at all. I needed them today on Dartmoor as the temperature touched the dreaded 5c, my Kryptonite in the ever damp South West. Once it hits -c I'm ok again.
