Do you ever think about how Caleb would kiss Veth on her crown/cheeks/forehead all the time but then stopped approx around the same time they found out she had a husband, then he started again w/ she confirmed she'd be staying with the Nein, and then stopped Again after she kissed him on the lips that first time they tried the transmogrification? Bc I think about it a normal amount

Hey~ Video game question pls, I've continued playing DAO against my better judgement (as long as I ignore or avoid the parts that make me want to peel my skin off, it can be fun even! Shock)-- is there an actual plot point re: why not many Grey Wardens are women? At first I just figured Because Nerd Dudes but they bring it up a *lot*, like, enough that it seems like intentional foreshadowing. (Granted I'm willing to bet anything foreshadowinged would be Bad given uhhhh the rest of the game)

Honestly, I think a lot of it is that there are so few women fighters for whatever reason. Becoming a Warden tends to be sort of a last resort thing and because women can't do things despite there being no misogyny in Thedas apparently (lol) they just appear a lot less. There are quite a few prominent female Warden characters all things considered.

Like, Sten doesn't think it's weird that you're a Warden necessarily as much as he thinks it's weird that you participate in combat at all.

Hey! I was trawling through the tags on the Mechanisms post where you said "#the mechanisms#i love how every picture of the mechs simultaneously gives me the worst secondhand embarrassment but is also just A Vibe", and,, hard same?? Like on one hand, oh god the cringe, but on the other hand I feel bad for being so embarrassed by whats obviously earnest enjoyment. TMA AU where instead of 'Mr. Spider' Jon's childhood was marked by a Hunt-aligned Leitner that turned him into a small frog for twelve hours every time he read it, but a frog's mind isn't particularly compatible with a human's so Jon would miss school and wake up with a twelve-hour gap in his memory starting just before the book + feeling exhausted and confused with the pressing need to hide and run from things (This was intended as a shitpost but now I accidentally made myself kind of sad)

How the heck did you make me sad about baby frog Jon?? I feel like I should applaud you for the strangest TMA concept to be upset about ?

I also really like the idea of the Eldritch Fear God of Being Hunted having a book that just turns you into the tiniest most adorable little frog friend like of COURSE this would be the Leitner that Jon gets
